ABOUT KLND.
KLND LLC is a media and entertainment company based in NYC providing creative audio solutions. KLND efforts are focused on audio services such as: recording, mixing, mastering, production, composition, post-production, and podcast management. Any audio-related projects are welcome!
Kai Tsao is a unique artist-engineer-producer hybrid. Since launching KLND as a platform for music creation in 2018, the GRAMMY U winning artist has amassed over 200 million listens on his work. He is also currently assisting engineer Alex Tumay at his studio in Manhattan.
KLND often works in collaboration with its close partners to deliver in multi-media formats. Our close friends include: orangejuuz (film collective), Brian Kwon (visual artist), and Avery McMurtry (designer).

$75/h
Base Rate
The base rate for my work is $75/hour for any service, including: consultations, recording.
$300-400
Mixing
Mixing is set at a flat rate of $300-400 per track depending on complexity of mix. Mix quotes are sent once assets are received on my end. The flat rate includes all studio time and mix revisions. Final deliverables include: Listen, Main, TV, Instrumental, Acapella, Clean (if applicable) passes.

Full Service
Recording, Production, Mixing, and Mastering can be bundled at a flat rate of $750 per track. Rate includes any studio time and unlimited revisions.
ADD-ONS
$50
Stem Delivery
Stem Delivery is a time-consuming process that requires attention to detail and a period of time in which the studio cannot be used for other purposes. Clients often opt for this add-on in the case that they would like to make Atmos mixes of their songs.
$50
Mastering
Mastering can be added on to any service by adding $50 per track. This flat rate is only applicable to mastering services added on to other services. Please contact me directly for mastering-only quotes.
These rates are valid for projects for which my work begins by 09/01/2024. Various discounts are often available for bulk projects and sessions, so reach out for a quote on your project!
